National Emergency Briefing Film and Discussion

Transition Bro Gwaun is hosting a FREE screening of the National Emergency Briefing film and community discussion
on Friday, 29 May 2026, at 6:30 PM BST.

Doors open 6:30 PM, film starts 7:00pm
Please book your FREE ticket by clicking on the map pin here: https://www.nebriefing.org/screening-map
or clicking here.

The film covers the climate/nature crisis and features experts discussing impacts on food, health, and extreme weather.
It features Chris Packham and leading scientists, aims to inform communities about the climate crisis and discuss local actions.

Location: Letterston Memorial Hall, Letterston, Pembrokeshire, SA62 5RY

The 50-minute film argues that climate change poses an immediate threat to national security, food systems, and public health.

Please be aware that

“The film fully supports and is explicitly based on the scientific consensus that global warming is caused by man-made greenhouse gas emissions. The entire premise of The People’s Emergency Briefing is built around the urgent need to halt the burning of fossil fuels and drastically cut carbon dioxide emissions.”
If you are not convinced by this viewpoint you should perhaps take your blood pressure tablets before attending 🙂

The discussion session is aimed at producing calls to action; be aware that arguments against the ‘scientific consensus’ do not fit this meeting’s format and might possibly be labelled ‘Misinformation‘?
Enjoy
