Band Gig evening of 24th July 2021
STOP PRESS: ETA Letterston around 7pm TONIGHT
Saturday 24th July (unofficial estimate).
Bob started fresh at Cardiff with an over-enthusiastic speed of around 3.9mph but soon settled into a more realistic pull of around 2.5mph with a struggle on the section leading to the Five Roads, Llanelli. He’s pulling his last sections at around 2.3mph and, with a final burst of speed since Haverfordwest, he will arrive in Letterston (groggy from lack of sleep?) near to 7pm tonight. He will have averaged a magnificent speed of 2.3mph non-stop from Cardiff over ~110 miles taking around 48 hours, an Ultra-marathon indeed. Well done Bob!
Local Man Bob Thomas is enduring a super-marathon non-stop from Cardiff back to Letterston in aid of charity Cardiac Risk in the Young
He’s pulling his complete Drum Kit behind him all that way!
He started at 8pm on 22nd Jul 21 and will arrive in Letterston this evening 24th July where he will set up his kit and play a gig with his band. Please check his facebook to lend support.
